Kevin McAllister

Clubs played for: Falkirk, Chelsea, Falkirk (loan), Falkirk, Hibernian, Falkirk, Albion Rovers (1983-2004)

Born: 1962

Birthplace: Falkirk, Scotland

Position: Winger

Biography: Became John Neal's last ever signing for the club when the manager paid Falkirk £35,000 to bring him south of the border just before handing over control of first team affairs to John Hollins. Despite being an old fashioned winger with good ball control and a wide range of skills, he was forced to live in the shadow of Pat Nevin for three seasons because of his fellow Scots better goal scoring record. Once Nevin had been sold to Everton, McALISTER seized the chance to become first choice. Enjoyed success during his stay in 5W6 winning a Full Members Cup, a Second Division Champion winner's medal and Zenith Data Systems Cup, before returning to Scotland where he played for another fourteen years. Was player manager of Albion Rovers before becoming Chelsea's Scotland scout. He is now Brechin City's assistant manager.
