McDonald, Willie Professional footballer Wullie MacDonald (note the spelling) was my Grandfather and, although I was 8 years old when he died, I still have memories of the holiday flat in Port Bannatyne that my grandparents owned where we would spend time during the summers in the late seventies. When Grampa Mac (which me and my three elder brothers called him) baby sat for us when we lived in 15j King Street in Coatbridge, my Gran and Grampa Mac's wife would warn him not to hold us upside down because, apparently, we hated it. We'll, my wee Gran, Sadie, who sadly died in 1989 never did find out that we absolutely loved it!!! That's my favourite memory of Wullie MacDonald (Grampa Mac).
