McLintock, Frank Back in the early 80s, me & a few mates were at Stoke v Liverpool & decided to chance our luck by walking into the boardroom after the match for a couple of pints. We got talking to Frank , who was working for BBC radio football commentary at the time. This was well before 5live, think it was R2. He was very friendly & admired our Scouse bravado by mixing with the directors & reporters for complimentary drinks & sandwiches.
