McNeice, Vince I remember Vince when he was working about 1992 in the BP Chemical plant at Fawley, Hampshire. He used to commute from his home in Denmark!

Being a Brighton & Hove Albion supporter we talked about him playing in a game in 1958 v Albion which Watford lost 6-0 and allowed Albion to be promoted to Division 2

It is common knowledge that some Watford players accepted bribes to lose the match. Vince could not confirm this but did say a couple of players did not play to their usual standard!

RIP Vince

McNeice, Vince I played alongside Vince McNeice for 4 years. He was our School St James Burnt Oak Captain he played for Hendon schools, Middlesex Schools and England Schoolboys. St James were unbeaten for 3 years . Vince was a natural Captain even at that age 12/13/14 he took the lead and the captaincy very seriously.

McNeice, Vince I believe that sometime in the 1950's Vince worked for Rilling-Hills Co.Ltd,in Southwark, London, making ladies hair preparations with my father John 'Jack' Blake

McNeice, Vince I remember reading in one of the programmes that Vince also played for the RAF so was he perhaps on National Service and turned out forWatford as an Amateur? I saw him play many times.

McNEICE, Vince Vince and I were stationed at RAF Northwood in 1958 and playing for a very strong team which once beat RAF Bigginhill 28 - 0 in the RAF cup. Great days when we were young and fit.
