McVitie, George I was good mates with George when we both lived in Harraby. I played football for the railway and we used to train at Brunton Park. I dont know if he remembers me - Jimmy Hayton. I am now 74 living in Sskelmersdale, Lancashire. Moved down here when my mum died 55 years ago.

McVitie, George I saw George make his debut for WBA and was right behind him when he crossed the ball for Jeff Astle to score against Newcastle, I think. Unfortunately we lost 2-1 but the crowd loved our new signing because he could dribble and had a sweet right foot.
