Position: Midfielder

Biography: Joined United on a free transfer from Celtic in July 2004, he made his debut in a Champions League clash with Dinamo Bucharest, with his first goal arriving in a League Cup tie with Crewe in October 2004. But he found his chances limited, spending most of 2005-2006 season on loan at Leeds United. In August 2006, he was allowed to leave United on a free transfer to join Roy Keane's Sunderland. In September 2009, he moved back to Scotland to play for Hibs.
