Biography: A defensive midfielder who signed for an undisclosed fee from Portuguese outfit FC Penafiel. He found chances limited despite being an under-21 international and spent much of his time in the reserves. Made his first team debut against Scunthorpe United in the FA Cup but was released in May 2007. He has been playing for Cypriot champions Apoel since leaving Stamford Bridge.
