Morgan, Willie My mother (Lorraine) & her sister (Del) visited your mom many years ago, Tom Morgan was my grandfather. You flew into the states to play for the Kicks. My son & my Mom met you at the airport, my son wanted to meet you. He is now interested in ancestry, wondering if there is a family crest, if possible could contact me regarding this matter. So greatly appreciated, thank you. Jane Friend

Morgan, Willie Hi Willie, dont know if you remember me from my Alloa YMCA days when you played for Fishcross, one big memory for me seeing you running rings round Drew Robinson for 90minutes in cup tie at Tillicoultry as 13year old. Just to congratulate you on wonderfull career. Just been introduced to computer world at 70 so a bit hit and miss. I am fit and well and still playing Bowls for Leicestershire after 25 years. if this gets to you, hoping it finds you and your family well. Jim

Morgan, Willie I played with willie when I signed semi pro in 1962 I lived in Whitburn willie lived in sauchie you had to go through Whitburn so we traveled back home together when you got time off a couple of days to see your family willie bought a Vauxhall vectra and when we took a corner the car slid right into a street light which was bent into the car was a mess as well but thankfully the two of us were okay I can't remember the town we were coming through or how we got back to our digs willie was a fantastic player he could put the ball through your legs with his eyes shut he was magnificent.

Morgan, Willie I met him at his home in 2005 having come from Ireland to track him down with some difficulty and the day ended up with the police been called to the house because his daughter Gaynor was suspicious of me and my mate when we called while he was golfing. Anyway all went great once he realised we were fans and he was a smashing bloke and spent about an hour with us showing us lots of memorabilia and all around his home. A top guy who just likes his privacy.

Morgan, Willie Got to know Willie when he came to London to play. I then used to go up to Burnley to watch him play. When Burnley played Spurs at White Hart Lane in the FA cup in 1966 he got his mate to drive me to the ground and got me a seat next to the Burnley players that weren't playing. Still in touch with him now - 50 years on.

Morgan, Willie Willie ran a pub in Macclesfield on Chestergate in the late 1980s. I think it was The King's Head. He often served me Guinness with chicken and chips in a basket....or was it a burger?? Happy days!!

Morgan, Willie hi, i sometimes used to play golf with willie at townley municipal golf course and after we would go playing sbooker at 'lilians sooker hall in burnley. We once swapped blazers - he wore my marroon school captains blazer and i his bfc blazer. proud moment or what! I was as were many fans gutted when he left. One of the best well mannered level headed blokes i have ever met and oh boy was he fit - could run for ever ! I was rubbish as football but turned pro golfer in my later uears.

Morgan, Willie Born in Glasgow in 1946, I remember Willie left to play for Burnley. I had no idea where Burnley was! Briefly, having lived in Cheshire for some years,,I have been to Turf Moor many times and am still a Burnley fan even though I now live in Cormwall. Very happy with their current position in the championship.
