Biography: A member of back-to-back FA Youth Cup winning sides, a promising winger he made his league debut in the same game as Harry Gregg against Leicester in December 1957. He then survived the Munich air crash but was never the same player afterwards. The harrowing effects of what happened appeared to leave deep scars and despite making a quick comeback, he only played four games in the next two seasons and was sold to Swansea City for a nominal £3,000 fee. He became a publican in Pontypool, then a salesman, before retiring.
