Nicholson, Peter I first met Peter when I signed schoolboy forms for Carlisle United and we played together in a couple of trial matches and occasonally in the "A" team. I think that the last time we played together was in the U21 Cumberland Cup Final which was Peters last game as Bob Stokoe had decided to do away with reserve and A team football and so all apprentices and young players were released. We got on well and I am sorry our paths never crossed again over the years.

Nicholson, Peter I first met Peter as a 13 year old when I captained my school team against St Cuthberts we went on to play for the County schoolboys together then both went on to Carlisle United where we played in the youth team,A team and reserves together before Bob Stokoe ended it....for Peter the rest is history....a nice guy who had the hunger to make it

Nicholson, Peter Peter owned the first pair of continental soccer boots I had ever seen (at St Cuthberts school) cut below the ankle when the rest of us had 'proper' rugby style boots. Great of, glad you did so well!
