Biography: An all round sportsman who represented the Republic of Ireland at both football and rugby, as well as winning sprint and long jump championships in Ireland. Resumed a career in medicine firstly at a hospital in Ruislip, then back in his native Ireland, where he acted as Doctor for the Irish Olympic teams on several occasions died in June 2006 aged 85.
