Biography: The Striking Viking was an instant hit at Saints winning Player of the year in his 1st season, but after that an up and down time at Southampton, he eventually moved onto Blackburn with Kevin Davies returning to Saints after a year away, Ostenstad rejoining Grame Souness who had brought him to ÐThe DellÓ. He retired after the 2005 season. He is now the director of football for Viking, the club where he started his career
