Position: Central midfielder/Right winger

Biography: Mike Panopoulos is an Australian-Greek who gave up the Greek sunshine to sign for the Blues in August 1999. The £1 million fee was a record for the club at the time and he stayed for the next three years. In December 2001 Panopoulos moved on loan to Dunfermline F.C. in the Scottish Premier League and left permanently shortly thereafter. He transferred to South Melbourne FC and then made a move to Greece with Kerkyra F.C. Has since returned to Australia and works as Head Soccer Coach of Wesley College.
