Position: Forward

Biography: A Blackpool legend was voted into the club's Hall of Fame by supporters due to his goalscoring prowess which included being top scorer in their first ever season in the Football League. Played one game for Liverpool against Everton in 1900 before returning to his hometown club for a further ten years. Became manager of Barrow in 1910 and later took a job with the Corporation Baths. It was here that he met an untimely end whilst trying to rescue a work colleague from a tank of boiling water. Unfortunately, the plank that he was standing on collapsed and he also fell into the water and died. He was 42.
