Biography: A midfield player he played in the Football League between 1962-79. He was a one club man making 532 appearances in the Football League and 591 overall for Charlton Athletic. This is a club record for an outfield player. In August 1965 he became the first substitute to be used in the Football League. He went on to play for Columbus Magic then as a player and assistant manager at Tampa Bay Rowdies. He was manager of Gillingham between 1981-87 and at Maidstone United between 1989-91. He became assistant manager at Charlton Athletic leaving in 2006 before having a short spell at West Ham United as assistant manager. His son is Gavin Peacock the former Premiership player. He is an ambassador and vice president for Charlton Athletic.
