Biography: Portuguese Centre-half, full name Pedro Miguel Cardoso Monteiro came to Southampton in 2006, making 44 appearances in all before joining West Bromwich Albion where he made 28 appearances for the West Midlands club as they won promotion to the Premier League. he was then released in the summer of 2009 after playing five times as they were relegated.
