Biography: Joined United as a junior but was released without ever making an impression. He dropped into non- league football with Chadderton before returning to the league with Rochdale. Was on the coaching staff at Nottingham Forest and served as caretaker boss at the City Ground for a brief spell, he then had a stint at Crystal Palace until May 2010.
