Biography: French Under 21 international Pericard initially moved to Fratton Park on loan in 2002 and scored on his debut in a 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest. He impressed enough to earn a permanent switch in July 2003, having scored nine times in 32 games as Pompey won the Division One title. His stay lasted until 2006 when he was released and agreed to join Stoke City on a free transfer. On 24 August 2007 Pericard was sentenced to four months in prison after being found guilty of perverting the course of justice. He had lied about being the driver of a car caught speeding at 103 mph near Plymouth. Now plays for Swindon Town.
