Perrin, Steve I went to school with Steve in the sixties and, encouraged by our sports master Roy Brooks, he blossomed eventually as a good pro footballer. We played in several cup finals together and team colleagues at the time were Chris Thomas, Phil Tiffin, John Thompson, Paul Pitfield and Pete Dent. Steve was an Excellent player and a great guy.

Perrin, Steve As a young lad in Liverpool, I exchanged football programmes with pen pals across the country. Steve was one and I still have many QPR ones because of him. I wish you well Steve.

Perrin, Steve He was headteacher at my primary school - Bushey Heath Primary. He barely ever let girls play in the football team... even when they were far superior to the boys!

Perrin, Steve I remember him when he was a PE Teacher at Christ's College Finchley Boys grammar school in the early 1970's . He was a very supportive teacher and coach. It was quite a thrill for us boys when he got signed by Crystal Palace.

Perrin, Steve In 1975 Steve was a geography/pe teacher at Christ College in Finchley. He also played for non league Wycombe Wanderers in the Isthmian League at the same time during a golden period when they were regularly champions. In January 1975 they reached the FA Cup third round for the first time in their history, played Middlesbrough of the FIrst Division then managed by Jack Charlton, I was a keen schoolboy football fan, following non league rivals, Hendon, now sadly languishing in level 7 of the pyramid. Steve kindly arranged for me to receive 2 tickets (and would not accept any payment) for the match at the Loakes Park ground, near the hospital. The match finished goalless and Wycombe narrowly lost the replay 1-0. It was a lovely gesture from a genuine fellow.
