Biography: Much travelled Australian keeper who added Pompey to his long list of clubs in 1998. He had been Charlton Athletic's first choice keeper but the arrival of SasaIlic meant he was free to move to Fratton Park as cover for Alan Knight. Later had brief stops at a further seven clubs (plus Derry City across the water) but remarkably only a further eleven league appearances in total. On his Walsall debut Petterson conceded six goals and played for Notts County before catching the plane back to Australia. Now plays in Perth for semi professional outfit ECU Joondalup.
