Biography: Scottish international Quashie joined Pompey in August 2000 for £600,000 and was a regular starter for five years. He followed Harry Redknapp to Southampton for over £2 million in 2005 and has played for numerous clubs since, the most recent being QPR until his release at the end of the 2009/10 season. His name is still chanted at Fratton Park whenever an opposing striker misses the goal by a wide margin.
