Born: 1927

Birthplace: Middlesbrough

Position: Centre-forward

Biography: Died in May 1989 after a long fight against motor neurone disease. In an extremely successful management career he won two League titles, League Cup, FA Cup and the European Fairs Cup with Leeds United. Turned his back on England to manage in the United Arab Emirates. Shortly before his death he asked that his ashes be strewn over the Elland Road pitch and in 1994 his wife Elsie opened the new Don Revie North Stand.
