Biography: Joined Chelsea as a schoolboy before making his way through the ranks. A classy performer with pace and close control, made the left flank his own between 1981 and 1983. Is best remembered for a goal he scored against Liverpool in the FA Cup, picking up a ball on the halfway line before slotting past Bruce Grobbelaar. Was sold to Oxford United for £75,000 and is still working for the same club, heading their community programme, having previously worked in the commercial office.
