Kieran Richardson

Clubs played for: West Ham United, Manchester United, West Bromwich Albion (loan), Sunderland, Fulham, Aston Villa (2001-2014)

Born: 1984

Birthplace: Greenwich, London

Position: Left winger/Left-back

Biography: Snatched from under the noses of West Ham United, he became a reserve team regular in his first season at Manchester United. He made his debut against Olympiacos in the Champions League in October 2002 with his first goal coming against Leicester in the League Cup a month later. Nicknamed 'Lord Snooty' by a fanzine, he wasn't popular with the fans and could never command a regular place in the first team but still managed a Premier League winner's medal in 2006-2007 to go with the FA Youth medal he won in 2003, and the League Cup winner's medal two seasons later. Sunderland boss, Roy Keane, paid £5.5 million for him in July 2007.
