Roche, Paddy Lived next door to him in Irishtown Dublin and played football with him in Ringsend Park (he played rings around all of us, he was so talented). A lovely person and a lovely family (think they were - brothers Philip, Willie and Bunny (nick name) and oldest sister (forget her name), Catherine(?) and Marie. He lived behind the bike shop of Dick Balf and his father kept hens (chickens) in the back yard (hence his nickname - Chicken). Great memories.

Roche, Paddy I went to school with Paddy. His nickname then was affectionately "Chicken". Paddy lost his 1st team place with Man U when he had a game off to attend his fathers funeral. Alex Stepney had a great game and the rest is history. I havent seen Paddy for years as I live in New Zealand now but Im glad to see he is still alive and kicking. Best of luck and health to you Paddy old mate.
