Rogers, Don I am seventy and have fond memories of washing Don's 1967 Humber Sceptre when I was fifteen in Swindon every Saturday morning. To me, he was like Elvis - very famous. I now live in Australia and about twenty-five years ago I took my fifteen-year-old son to his sports shop and was delighted that he remembered me. What a legend you are Don

Rogers, Don Don is the greatest player that I have seen at Crystal Palace in 70 years of support.

Rogers, Don I was 14 when I watched Swindon v Arsenal at Wembley. The cup final in 1969. I am 66 now but I remember every single minute of the game. The pitch was like a cow field but the atmosphere was out of this world. My family were and still are avid fans of SWINDON TOWN FC.

Rogers, Don What a player, I’m from Swindon watching you play at the County Ground many times with my family when I was younger. Should have played for England. Take care.

Rogers, Don Fast runner at school could not quite beat Bobby Jukes but was fast. Great at football and very good at maths. Nickname Bimbo and a good mate. But being from a coal mining family could not help but be a great guy.

Rogers, Don My favourite Football Player . Arrived at Crystal Palace late in his career but still made a massive impression on the fans who love him to this day . Has just celebrated his 70th birthday in Swindon. Saw him score on his debut for Palace in a 1-0 win against Everton . He dribbled from the half way line before chipping the ball over the keeper . Magic . Come back and see us at Crystal Palace Don if you can . The fans still love you . Should have played for England full side . Brilliant dribbling winger , great goal scorer , a joy to watch him play .
