Birthplace: Altenburg, East Germany

Position: Centre-forward

Biography: Rosler was forced to retire when he was diagnosed with cancer in 2003, with an X-ray discovering that he had a tumour in his chest. Rosler made a full recovery after chemotherapy and obtained his coaching badges whilst in remission. In 2005 he was appointed manager of Lillestrom, but left a year later to manage Viking. He left the club in November 2009.
