RUCKER, Norman (Norrie) This is my amazing! Dad, my hero. He is 81 now living with my mum in a cared assist apartment and has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s/ Parkinson’s. On good days he can still tell us stories of his beloved Manchester City when he used to sneak into Maine Rd as a kid under the turnstiles to watch city. Even though he is not known to many football fans because his amazing career was short lived because of injuries, he is still a legend to me. I often take him to his FPA meetings at Etihad and he attends the annual FPA Dinner. I am truly proud of him for achieving his dream as a kid from Kippax St, Moss Side, from a family of 7 siblings, to actually be taken on for England youth team (5 England Caps), to being signed up professional for Manchester City in May 1954. Never give up on your dreams!

RUCKER, Norman (Norrie) This is my amazing great uncle! My dads uncle and my grandads brother. He grew up with my grandad and their other 5 siblings sleeping head to toe in bed. A great footballer, always happy to tell you about his career and let you try on his caps.
