Position: Outside-forward

Biography: Scott was the first player from Northern Ireland to be sent to Old Trafford by scout Bob Bishop. He made his first team debut in December 1952 against Wolves, but with chances to impress limited, he moved to Grimsby who were managed by his former United colleague, Allenby Chilton. The Northern Ireland international lost his life aged only 44 in tragic circumstances in June 1978, after an accident on the Manchester building site where he was employed.
