SCOTT , Laurie LAURIE was a very good footballer and a table tennis champion. A good person and a wonderful addition to our family us being kids at the time. I was born the year he married my sister and was named after him.

SCOTT, Laurie I was a apprentice taken on by Laurie in 1953 until I Was called up for National Service. He was a good manager and Jack Blackman was a good coach. He did want me to continue but it did not happen. They said, believe it or not, I would be the next big name at Crystal Palace. My pal on the ground staff was Ray Potter who went to West Brom. They were great days I just hope Palace go from strength to strength. Pat Madigan
