Biography: Signed for the Blues after leaving school and was a prolific marksman for the youth and reserve teams before enjoying a rapid rise to fame. Dave Webb gave him his first team debut and he netted on his first start against Wimbledon. However, he had to wait until Glenn Hoddle took over as manager for another run, but the signings of Mark Stein and then Paul Furlong signalled that despite his promise he was never going to stay at the club. Alan Ball paid a club record £1.25 million to take him to Southampton. Went into non-league management with Bedfont FC and from June 2010, Walton Casuals.
