Biography: A goalkeeper who played for Ipswich Town between 1969-84. They were his only club apart from two games on loan at Lincoln City. During his fifteen years at the club he was mainly the reserve goalkeeper but made 141 league appearances for them. Small for a goalkeeper at 5ft 8in he was noted for his bravery. He finished his playing career at non league Beccles Town and later coached at Lowestoft Town. He became a fishmonger buying his fish in Lowestoft and selling it in his mobile shop in South Ruislip London.
