Position: Goalkeeper

Biography: Epsom born keeper was back up to Antti Niemi at Southampton he has since moved to Nottingham Forest where he has made over 120 appearances. Smith probably had the easiest job of any keeper when it came to putting the ball in the net. He was allowed to score straight from the kick-off at the start of the club's Carling Cup tie against Leicester City in September 2007, the original game was abandoned after City defender Clive Clark collapsed. Forest had been one up at the time and the mark of sportsmanship on the part of Leicester City was reported across the world.
