Smith, Ray Worked for Owens Corning Fiberglass (Wrexham) and the Post Office (Mold). He died peacefully on the 19th January 2021 (aged 77).

Smith, Ray Ray and Eddie Firmani were a terrific pair in Southend's forward line in the sixties,both worked hard and complemented
each other.They were one of my favourite partnership in the good old days when Southend were worth watching.
Admission in those days three Bob !!! That's 15 pence in today's money great value !!!

Smith, Ray Ah , Smudger Smith - Smithy and Albert( Kinsey )were our heroes in the late 60' s . Song ? Smithy , Smithy , we'd walk a million miles for one your goals , my Smithy ! Aparently moved on to Peterborough . Saw Ray and Steve Ingle in ' The Gate Hangs High ' pub back then after a game . Great days .
