Position: Goalkeeper

Biography: Southampton born goalkeeper who joined Southampton initially as an amateur he soon turned professional and made over 50 appearances for Saints in a seventeen year career mainly as second choice, WWII interupted his career and he joined the Army Medical Corps and ended up a POW in Poland. He returned to the Dell after the war and continued playing until 1953 when he joined Basingstoke to finish his playing days. Some years later he returned to The Dell as groundsman until he retired in 1984 sadly dying just two years aged 67 in Southampton
