Birthplace: Liverpool

Position: Left-back

Biography: Liverpool born Left-back who had been part of a British record transfer when he joined Birmingham City from Everton as part of the £350,000 deal that took Bob Latchford to Everton. Signed for Pompey in 1979 but after a good run an achilles tendon injury kept him out of the side. His place given to emerging youngster Keith Viney and was eventually forced to retire. He then became youth coach at Fratton Park. before returning to the midlands to live in Cradley.
