Biography: Islington born Left-back started out at Southampton but was released after just five first team games, joining Wigan an emerging club at the time his career blossomed playing over two hundred games in five years. He thenhad eight years at Port Vale where he topped three hundred appearances in all competitions. He spent a final two seasons at Mansfield although he didnt play once in the second one. Since retiring he has bought out a coach and minibus company that he had been working for
