Biography: He is best remembered for scoring a last minute goal in injury time during the final match of the 1988- 89 season which allowed Arsenal to claim the First Division title just ahead of Liverpool. Thomas spent a month on loan at Fratton Park before becoming a Liverpool player himself. He scored a goal for the Reds in the 1992 FA Cup Final and had spells at Benfica and Wimbledon before retiring in 2001. Now lives in Liverpool and runs his own security service. He also plays for the Liverpool masters team.
