Position: Full-back

Biography: Made his Pompey debut in front of the TV cameras in 1994 but only played three more games before dropping into non-league football with Bognor Regis. Terry Fenwick had taken over as boss and immediately drafted in a clutch of experienced pros and Alex was one of the players chosen to make way for them. Returned to his home town, Southampton and gained his fork-lift truck license and a job at the container terminal.
