Birthplace: East Ham

Position: Midfielder/Striker

Biography: Only pulled on a Pompey jersey four times but he was a New Zealand international of repute who won over 100 international caps. Brian went on to play almost 100 games for Brentford but returned to New Zealand in 1972. He continued to play for a succession of clubs and was part of the country's 1982 World Cup squad. Turner also won three Player Of The Season Awards, was inducted into the National Hall of Fame and continued to coach once he finally retired from playing.
