Biography: Played over 400 games for Aldershot. Managed a sports wholesale business, Midas Leisure Ltd in Hampshire until losing a long battle against leukaemia in November 2009.

Walden, Richard Was such a quiet generous man loved by so many people round where we live. Just have to look on his Facebook memories page. When he was near the end of life he told me he kept dreaming that he kept turning up for games and forgot his football boots. This was a reoccurring dream. Speaks volumes.
