Wallace, Charlie Charlie Wallace and his wife, Edith, were regulars at the Horse and Jockey,Sutton Coldfield, which was my parents' local. He kindly obtained two cup final tickets and I went to Wembley with a friend to see Newcastle versus Bolton. Jackie Milburn scored twice for Newcastle. When the Villa were at home he would come out to collect the footballs from the pre match warm up and one Saturday he took a friend and myself on a tour of the ground. Many years ago!
