Walley, Tom Went through the academy system at Watford FC many moons ago, Tom & Steve Harrison were heavily involved & excellent coaches. Pat Rice used to take training in the YMCA indoor hall, looking back really spoilt to receive such coaching.
Whilst playing for my school team at Warren Farm ( we were loosing at halt time.) Tom initially sent a player over to ask the score (interrupting my headmasters team talk

Walley, Tom Just wonder if it could be Tom who married my cousin Janice (Bennett) who I haven't heard from for over 40 years. Know she married an Orient player.

WALLEY, Tom Played as a youngster in a kickabout with Tom and another great name 'Wyn Davies' in the early 1960s at "Cae Top" in Caernarfon. These were our favourite playing fields. Wyn was more famous during his Newcastle days same era. Tom could not match him for his air power. Tom's uncle and nephew were into football when Tom left Caenarfon for Arsenal. He was a massive loss but went on to better things. All the best Tom... up the "Cofis" (slang for Caernarfon).
Jones, Arfon
