Biography: Joined United on loan as cover for Gary Bailey after he had fallen out with Birmingham City manager, Ron Saunders. He then signed permanent in August 1983 but a back injury restricted his appearances. Served on the board of Altrincham, worked in insurance, and coached the keepers at Bury for a while. Now works in property development.
