Biography: Became player-coach to Woollongong in Australia in 1975 after sixteen years with Swansea City. However he and his family could not settle, so returned home to Port Talbot, and worked as a postman until his retirement.

WILLIAMS, Herbie Herbie had a short stint down under at Wollongong. I was a defender primarily left full back but Herbie saw me as a centre back. He had a good eye, and was a great coach as I remained at that position even to the present. It would be really great to catch up with Herbie so hopefully and greatly appreciated if my message can get passed on to Herbie.
