Biography: Born on April Fools Day 1969, Windass had two spells with Hull City and was the clubs oldest ever scorer at the age of 39 but his most memorable goal for the club came at Wembley on May 24th, 2008 when his rocketing volley broke The Tigers' deadlock with Bristol City to take the club into top flight of English football for the first time. He also played for Aberdeen and Bradford City. He lives near Ilkley, West Yorkshire with his wife Helen and two sons. He is still playing football with Barton Town and is an occasional TV pundit with Sky Sports. He scored 230 goals in his professional career and remains a Hull City legend.
