Biography: A full England international, and a much-travelled player, had a spell in charge of Wimbledon before returning to Villa Park Youth Development Director managed Thailand and Indonesia, and lived in a house built on the Joondalup Golf Resort, Joondalup, Perth, Western Australia. He returned to England in 2012 & is living in the Birmingham area. He has become manager of non league Stockport Sports formerly Woodley Sports.(Netted the winner for Villa in the European Cup final).

Withe, Peter Peter scored the winning goal for Aston Villa in the 1981-1982 season. I remember the day we travelled to Rotterdam for the final game against Bayern Munich. We were behind the goal when Peter scored and I was nearly crushed. I remember on our return to the UK that the media had not given the victory its deserved coverage and the Birmingham City Council refused Villa a victory parade in the city. It’s a pity the team that won the first Division title and European Cup were broken up following a change of manager and chairman. But well done AV40.

Withe, Peter Played in the same amateur team as Peter and his brother in Halewood. We lived in the same flats as his wife. Happy memories.
