Biography: An England youth international, he combined playing with studying Economics at Manchester University. He made his league debut as a sub against Everton on Boxing Day 1985. He started his first game under the reign of Sir Alex Ferguson against Nottingham Forest in March 1987, but was troubled by back problems and after specialist's advice in January 1989, he was forced to quit the game. Is believed to living in the Greater Manchester area.
