Biography: Former England goalkeeper with 43 caps, despite being understudy to Peter Shilton for most of his England career and at his first club Nottingham Forest, joined Southampton on loan ftowards the end of a successful career having played over one hundred games each for Rangers and Sheffield Wednesday and over two hundred for Norwich City. Since retiring in 1998 he has been Goalkeeping Coach at Everton
