Worrell, Colin I am Colin’s cousin living in Brisbane, Australia. Colin’s uncle Ivor is still with us aged 95, could possibly provide some background information.

Worrell, Colin Colin was my grandad. I never knew him that well because the whole time I knew him i was very young and he was very ill. However from the things I’ve heard about my grandad we are extremely similar. I am so sporty just like him and have played at an extremely high level in sport since I was young. We seem like the same person. I wish I knew him more! Please reach out to me if you have any info about him and his life. Thanks.

Worrell, Colin Colin was a Great Yarmouth boy from the Greenacre School. He was outstanding at all sport, but signed for Norwich City who as an apprentice was allowed to play in the Sunday League. He played full back and I played up front for Yarmouth on a Saturday. He asked if we could change positions on a Sunday playing for a team called Old Priorians. Neither of us were. Later that season Yarmouths normal right back was injured and they asked if I would fill in until he was fit. I never did play up front again. Representing Norfolk and signing semi-professional forms. Colin you changed my career.
